Labor and Delivery gowns at Asante Ashland Community Hospital

Labor and Delivery gowns at Asante Ashland Community Hospital

Pretty Pushers created the first Hospital-Grade, Industrial-Use Patient Gown specific to birth.

Once in a while, we get a glimpse of our gowns in action.  Thanks to birth photographer Arrow and Dot Photography, we can bathe in the bliss of a hospital birth that feels like home.

Attention NYC preggos!

One regret that we hear repeated again and again is “I wish I was more prepared for birth”.

Preparedness is education and power... go get some on October 3rd
💥. Our doula partner @chantal.traub will be there to offer priceless skills for the big day. There are a few spots left!  From strengthening your pelvic floor to breathing to pushing...it can't hurt (pun intended) to have several labor and delivery scenarios in your back pocket for when the day comes.

Every Birth Story is Special

This expecting mom was afraid that a labor induction would lead her away from the natural birth she wanted.

Pretty Pusher and newborn

But in fact, despite the cervadil, pitocin, and epidural, she was able to stay calm and peacefully push out her baby boy in 30 minutes!  Her family and friends were nearby to welcome him to the world and all was fine in the end.  This reminds us to expect the unexpected, and that we can still embrace our own story, even if it happened differently from the first draft.
